Wine filtration clean system - chamber filter press
This is a filter press manufactured by the German company Strassburger Filter, boasting a history of 100 years. It is a sealed type and can also be sterilized.
The KFP chamber filter press is specifically designed for the filtration of beverages, particularly wine, and features a highly hygienic structure (it is also compatible with CIP). The filter media is made of specially designed polypropylene, allowing for repeated use, making it very economical. By adopting a chamber type for the cake retention section, it is possible to incorporate the media into the chamber, enabling a large capacity for cake retention relative to the size of the device, which supports long operating times. Additionally, it is designed to facilitate easy cake release and cleaning. A membrane type can also be selected for the chamber section, allowing for stronger compression of the cake, thus improving filtration efficiency while simultaneously performing cake dewatering. Filtration aids such as diatomaceous earth or perlite can, of course, be used to enhance filtration efficiency. Furthermore, there is no worry about leaks due to the sealed sealing. It is also compatible with sterilization, allowing for use in various applications. Of course, it can be used for purposes other than wine!
